Overall Comment:"ControlUp has proven to be a very helpful tool in providing the users with accurate information on where a performance issue or hardware issue may lay. For remote users it has helped identify connectivity issues and provide a tool for benchmarking remote workers ability to successfully connect to the VDI environment over Citrix. For those on physical devices, the tool has provided better diagnostics and performance details and within the VDI environment the tool has been critical to ensuring the optimisation of the VDI systems to avoid bottle necking and user performance issues through the implementation of throttling and automated scripts. "
It's simple! The tool is very easy to use at a technical level and for the end users installation of the agent requires no IT knowledge. The support from ControlUp has also been of a high standard when queries or technical issues have arisen.
There is very little wrong with the product, my views are: 1) The user interface could be simplified and unified. You often have to jump between different screens and dashboards to get to the information you need. 2) Setting up of automated reporting could be improved with the ability to build stronger custom queries and reports. 3) Notification integration to other media such as Teams.
