We've been with them for about 4 years. The actual phone service is fine for the most part. The mobile apps can be a little wonky but are pretty good. Tech support can be hit or miss but is generally pretty good. However, the customer service is the absolute worst, which is why I am giving them 2 stars. It honestly eclipses all the good points above. Our rep can takes weeks to respond. They've consistently overbilled us for extensions we asked to shut down a year ago. Our rep says he's "talking to his manager" but never gets back to us and just runs interference. They require constant pressure to get anything changed. They also have some unsettling business practices. At the end of your 3 year contract if you don't proactively switch to an annual contract, like almost all reputable companies do automatically, you will go right into another 3 year contract with whatever equipment and lines you originally signed up for. They definitely do not have your back and take a more predatory approach to their clients. At least that's how it's been for us.

This product is very very easy to administer, has great quality during actual use, and is very easy for our end users to learn.

The telephone service is pretty good and the onboarding was pretty smooth.

I like being able to use the app to answer calls even when I'm not in or at my office, this eliminates the need for an answering service. I like how easy it is to program the phones when we have employees onboard/offboard. And I enjoy that people who do not realize our number is a land line can still text us, and those messages come through in the app!

Dislike

Due to our user base we require physical desk phones over soft phones. Over the years there have been a few issues specific to the desk phones. One being that they don't always like to transfer calls correctly with users getting a transfer failed error. Typically trying again is all that is needed to fix this issue but at times we've had to have the caller call back and try again.

The customer support is just terrible.

The app can be a little glitchy sometimes, like when I try to answer and a call gets dropped. We also sometimes have issues with the text response feature, but we can typically get this resolved through Customer Service. That is really it for negatives.

    Switching from our previous provider was easy, and the provided equipment has been working well for several years. The user interface is user-friendly, customer support is prompt and efficient, and they check in at regular intervals to make sure things are working as expected.

    Nextiva's account setup, tech support, and interface portal are all exceptional. Devices ordered are already pre-configured with Nextiva provisioning servers which makes installation quick and simple.
