Informatica is an extremely good tool with all the features for enterprise data preparation and workflow maintanence. The options and features are exhaustive . One thing it may improve upon is flexibility in transforming or working with excel and text files where we have to do many adhoc transformations.

We have been using Looker for over a year now and have seen great improvement in delivering data to our stakeholders. Setting up views and explores requires some learning but once you get the hang of it it rolls of the keyboard and greatly reduces the time needed for analysts to gather data for their stakeholders. Creating dashboarding and exploring data has never been easier for us. Stakeholders can do their own things in an environment that has been curated by our data specialists and we are sure is correct. The made content can also easily be shared among our company with the use of the hyperlinks.
