The software is very easy to use in all aspects. It's very quick and easy to create a backup job, and even easier to restore a backup. Backup restorations only take a few minutes, even for very large objects (a 4.5TB virtual server takes about 15 minutes to fully restore and power on). Backups can be configured to allow even down to file-level restoration, eliminating the need to restore an entire server if only one file or folder needs to be restored. The current version of Veeam also scans the backups for Malware for added security. Lastly, the support team is exceptional. For the few issues that I have run into, support agents have been able to quickly identify and resolve the root of the problem.

The trial period was great; we were able to leverage the virtual edition to fully test features before bringing the actual hardware onsite for a POC. The solution has worked well and has outclassed our previous setup in both ease of use as well as efficiency and speed. *UPDATE* In this update I would like to share my experience with hardware support from Cohesity, as our units have now been in service for over 5 years. I received a notification from the system that the expectant lifespan of one of the solid state drives was now down to 20%. Cohesity proactively replaced every one of our nodes, one at a time, so there was zero downtime to our backup cluster. This was unexpected and very welcome. They do stand behind their hardware as well as their software. I'm updating my rating of service and support to 5 stars because of this. *UPDATE 2* As a further update we have now retired out original cluster and installed a new cluster. The new cluster increased network speed, node count, and capacity. I think this is the highest compliment a review can give - we liked the solution enough to vote with our wallet a second time.

I also appreciate the robust security features and the responsive support team, which has been helpful whenever I had questions. The Tech support at Druva is one of the best I have encountered over the 34 years in the business. It is a pleasure to speak with them and their willingness to go out of their way to resolve any issue until it is done correctly. The product works and has been very reliable . I started with their onsite services, and slowly migrated to the cloud. In fact they were one of my first CLOUD based solutions. Which gave me confidence to allow more of our IT infrastructure to venture to the cloud.

Commvault has been our only platform handling backups for the last 9 years. In the past I've worked with other products and even this year I have been challenged by other platforms. I can say I've seen a good share of different platforms and i must say Commvault is by far the most complete. Our company is surely not the biggest in its area but we do have a lot of technologies on board. We tend to keep up with the market when it comes to IT innovations. All of those need a decent backup that keeps up with the current pace (updates, versions, ..) When it comes to documentation, the Commvault portal can be too much to handle and the search function is not always on point. Luckily, Commvault support makes up for this and will help you with issues whether you are a beginner or expert with the software. In our country the Commvault base is quite small but they are always ready to help and think along. They organize many technical sessions during the year so you can experience first hand new features or road-map novelties. After 9 years I'm still very pleased with the choice of Commvault for our company.

This is a great backup and recovery solution that once configured it very easy to monitor the status.

SEP Sesam works well. In comparison to previous product, it is faster so the backup window has shrunk. Set it, but don't forget it. Keeping up with it is simple. I have it scripted to notify with logs if there is an issue, or just a successful notification if there are no issues. Support is very helpful, and willing to make sure you are satisfied.

Backup exec introduced subscription based licence - it is very helpful. we had clear cut numbers available how much it will cost to configure new BE server. Veritas bundled out all features with core pack is a smart move. Additional VM added buy 1 license. it keeps finance guys happy

Actifio is easy to use and has been useful for creating our Dev environment for our 100 plus developers

Microsoft Azure has a proficient experience in its services delivery, as it is a scalable platform for back up management, and it has useful security policies. The monitoring of all content is managed or governed in a central scope.

Arcserve UDP has transformed our data protection strategy, offering a seamless and comprehensive solution.

The Barracuda Backup solution works seamlessly. The Microsoft Cloud Office 365 backups works simple superb with Barracuda Cloud. This is a an excellent solution for all segments.

The Dell engineering, design, and support teams are exceptional in keeping our environment backed up and secure.

The overall experience is more than satisfactory, its an easy to use and implement solution. it supports mutli-vendors , (OLVM , VMware, Hyper-V,,,etc). It handled our diverse backup destination storages ( SAN, NAS , Local , and even Shared folders) our best part was using the V2V option to migrate across platforms. in short it covers all of our needs and even some points that were not in our original requirement we found it is doable with Vinchin and we are making use of them right now (e.g DR site refreshment of VMs)

Spectrum Protect is a long-established product that was developed for professional data protection. You can just rely on it, but you have to know what you are doing.

Easy to work with and set up. Recovery works as advertised. Use offsite replication.
