When I first introduced to the capabilities of Island Browser, I was concerned on the lead time to implement Island into our environment. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find the administrative task to be easily understandable. Setting up web browsing controls based on category and application specific controls was a breeze. I did find DLP controls to be lackluster at first but Island is constantly pushing forward. A whole new module with vastly superior capabilities was enabled during the POC and shows to Island's commitment to continually improving their product. The support team from Island has been exceptional and has been a key factor in our confidence with the product. The leadership of our organization has been extremely impressed with the capability and ease of use for our end users. Overall, Island is a product I would recommend to any enterprise looking to provide security controls with minimal overhead.

Overall experience is very good for its protection features and reliability. This product provides a seamless browsing experience with security features like malware, ransomware and phishing protection. It has a user-friendly interface and product performance is good without impacting browsing speed.

Seraphic is a true game changer and in my last 25 years of cybersecurity I have seldom seen such a huge paradigm shift - not just promises - but actual outcomes and changes lowering enterprise risks. Seraphic provides solid protection against even the most modern phishing, man-in-the-middle attacks and many other web-based threats. While introducing solutions and tackling issues in a new way it will give many "hey, we can do this as well" moments. It enables use of zero trust application portals, privileged access, solves otherwise SSO challenges and fortifies visibility by locating within and next to the user and in their browser. With the browser extension approach, we have been able to deploy it for all our devices, regardless of the browsers used, without any interruption to the users or IT delivery. This supports agile, granular and fast improvements over a matter of days or weeks instead of months - even with thousands of users and devices.

The primary reason for looking out for such a solution was the need to have visibility into the browser extensions used across the firm by different users. This is an area that is normally ignored as there are very limited tools available out of the box or in the market that collect and report such inventory. These extensions can be installed by any user and don't require any elevated permissions to install and can run within the user's context having access to the content, different tabs, forms data, and so on. Extensions designed with malicious intent can pose significant security risks as they can collect user data, credentials, browsing history, cookies, and screen captures. This could result in data leaks and privacy violations for the users as well as for the firm. While LayerX is a complete solution for safe web browsing, our main motive was to use this tool to be able to inventory the extensions, identify the ones that shouldn't be running in our environment across multiple browsers based on the risks/permissions they expose, ability to block them via an easy to manage interface, and keep a tab on newly installed extensions. Our experience with the LayerX team has been great even from the time of POC. The engagement, response, and support remained consistent throughout and continues till date. Their willingness to support, collaborate, and provide timely solutions is what we liked the most. The product team continues to come up with new features providing more reports, privacy controls, and enhancements in the user interface that also shows their commitment to listen to the feedback and keep building on top of that. For me, LayerX has proven to be a valuable partner and we are very happy with their product and support to our organization.

As a Chrome enterprise/ browser user, I have found it to be a reliable and secure browser for my organization. The centralized management capabilities have been invaluable for maintaining consistency across out fleet of devices. The integration with Google workspace has streamlined out workflows and improved collaboration. While there have been occasional updates that required adjustments, the overall experience has been positive.
