Mandatory Features:
Deliver professional and/or managed services on at least one of these platforms: mainframes, midrange or any other legacy, non-x86 server platforms
Optional Features:
Transform, decommission and engineer, typically in conjunction with consulting and modernization services aimed at transforming mainframes and other legacy systems into a newer stack that operates on hybrid and public cloud
Ability to also include in the contract also facilities, hardware, software and recovery services
Commit to a service-level or outcome-based contract for delivering services. Clear responsibility matrix delineating roles and responsibilities between the customer and the provider
Provide a fully comprehensive managed service contract managing also physical and virtual x86-based systems or resources hosted in the public cloud or on a third-party data center
Use of IT service management and IT operations management tools (either provider- or customer-owned) to facilitate IT operations
Provide professional and/or managed services activities for enterprise platforms such as mainframe, midrange or other legacy systems
