Marketing Dashboards Reviews and Ratings

What are Marketing Dashboards?

Marketing dashboard tools collect and integrate marketing data from multiple sources, visualize it, and enable visualization and exploration through a web-based interface. The technology helps marketers deliver near-real-time data and reporting to stakeholders across the marketing organization and the enterprise. These tools cater to the business user rather than the technical professional, as they do not require you to manage a data warehouse or to define a semantic layer. The market features SaaS-based offerings from large, diversified providers as well as small pure-play vendors. Some of these sell marketer-focused solutions, and others have tailored their IT-focused offerings to this new buyer segment.

"Exploring Looker Studio: A Versatile Tool for Interactive Dashboards"

Looker Studio (formerly Google Data Studio) is a very versatile tool for creating interactive dashboards and visually appealing reports, all without the need for a lot of code, which makes it easier fo those who don't have a strong programming background. It integrates well with various data sources, such as Google Analytics, BigQuery, Google Sheets, and even external sources such as SQL databases and APIs, which is a strong point. You can create dynamic reports that update automatically as the data changes. The interface is intuitive, but it can get a little complicated if you start working with a lot of data or more complex formulas. Sometimes performance can suffer a little when the reports are very large or have many views. The biggest advantage, however, is the ability to easily share dashboards and collaborate in real time, which is great for distributed teams or clients who need constante access to data. What's more, the price is very affordable, considering that it has a robust free version for most cases. In short, it's a very powerful tool, especially if you already use the Google ecosystem, but it can have a learning curve depending on the level of customization you want to achieve.

"Fantastic tool for Marketing Reporting for SMEs"

I've looked at many different data analysis and display tools and none of them had the flexibility of Looker and all cost lots more. You can connect pretty much any data source - lots are native and free, whilst some require a paid connector from a third party (costs for these vary massively, but can be low). And you can connect anything using G Sheets as a middleman data source (and using Zapier creatively can help). We use Looker to display all of our Marketing data. I really like how easy it is to build your own reports. There's a bit of a learning, but in my experience it's far easier to get the hang of than the likes of MS Bi.

"Unmatched (Live) Customer Service and Platform Performance at Scale"

Sigma's customer service and platform performance are unmatched. The speed at which it renders tables and visualizations is factors faster than peers when accessing the same datasets in the same cloud data warehouse. The Sigma interface is simpler and more intuitive than its peers, but doesn't sacrifice much, if at all, in capabilities in comparison. The learning curve is flatter because the starting point is more familiar to business users and BI/Data analysts than other platforms where an entirely new interface and formula language has to be mastered to work with data.
