Having had bad experiences with other vendors, I really like how the software and hardware is working together with Synology. For example the way how you can create the RAID array using SHR (Synology Hybrid Raid) to utilize the available diskspace to the max is really a nice feature. Also having the ability to use docker (with or without the GUI) is for us a game changer. No need for extra hardware, just create the directory, download the right image and start the container and you are good to go.

i m working with Dahua's CCTV product more than 6 years, i have many installs in different locations (i mean indoor, outdoor, places with high humidity , factory's ) ant product works very well and stable. also client software , smartPSS is very easy to use and user friendly .

When it comes to hardware that just works, but works well, that's Verint. They have great products for their DVR systems and it's something we rely on every day. Reliability is something that you don't see often in products anymore, but with Verint, you'll find it.
