It's really great! It syncs to Outlook, easy to share screens. It's a great tool. My only negative is that this version is a bit harder to use because the windows don't show up individually.

We purchased the Cisco Business Edition 6000H for the company. It is a low-cost solution that is easy to manage and use. It also has scale to support growth according to my need. The solution is not just IP Telephony, but it is also video conferencing, instant messaging, presence, and mobility. All this in just one hardware.

As existing customers on Nortel/Avaya products, Avaya product good upgrade roadmap and explanation to customers. The licensing model on per user, per line, per agents are bit confused but it's good for a replacement solution. For product sourcing, since there are multiple products in market, it's good that the sales provide good prior preparation on products demonstration, user reference and uses case sharing. From evaluation, quotation and contract negotiation, they provide prompt response and competitive price. As there are major system integrators in Hong Kong, overall project implementation and integration are quite smooth. Avaya also provide support to system integrator during the implementation phase as several problems encouter on compatibility issue with other application systems. The only concern is previous financial status like Chapter 11 which really make end customers have hesitation on whether to maintain business with them in the long run. But seems this issue was fixed at the moment. So far, on going support is positive from their sales and support team.
