User Research Platforms Reviews and Ratings

User Testing is a fantastic tool to use, we have used it as a company on designs taken into our A/B Testing programme, and high-impact projects including a Checkout redesign and PDP refresh. The metrics part of the tool makes it easy to break down users' responses without needing to watch back full sessions. The new option to launch a survey (although I haven't used it yet) is extremely handy for gaining insights quickly. More than anything the tool is such a helpful addition to our team, helping us to delve into the 'why' behind quantitative insights that we find on our live site.

Hotjar is an amazing behavioural analysis tool. We use Hotjar to understand how our users are using the website and its features. We studied via the scroll map, heat map and session recordings to get first hand feedback of the website. We have been able to improve our lead submission rate and improve our transaction funnels as well using Hotjar analysis.

The platform was implemented quickly, the integrations were simple to setup and setting up flows was easy to grasp which quickly helped us guide our users in how to use the different features in our applications, as well as self-boarding.

There was a thoughtfulness that came with Dscout. When we met in person, they presented a compelling use case in which they could help us virtually gather participants and observe their behavior on our Figma and Miro prototypes and storyboards (respectively)

Alida takes the research process to the next level, particularly during the creation of research crowds where you can get the desired results. But such extra tools are required because of the absence of fine-tuning within the community where granular control is not available. It certainly did help, but, in a very short time, my prototype needed a more advanced tool for detailed user testing.
