We absolutely love Airbyte. It makes a process that normally has several steps (extract, move the data, format the data, ingest the data, process the data) a simple point and click process. It's multiple connectors and ease of use is unparallelled.

Airbyte is promising to be the perfect data movement tool for our data team needs. However it still lacks on few things which are vital for our business. Most importantly, the connectors that we are interested in (such as Oracle connector) are still on the Marketplace and not supported by Airbyte.

We like how easy it is to define a source data, and a destination and just let it go. It's fantastic for simple data loads that don't require any transformations or processing.

Its ability to connect with multiple sources and destinations. Scheduler that comes with Airbyte and the integration with Airflow

I liked the following features the most: 1. Good number of pre-built connectors. It already has the connectors for the sources and destinations we needed for our usecase. 2. Its cost-effective since it has self-hosted option and we were able to deploy within our k8s infrastructure. 3. Supports different sync modes like incremental, full refresh etc and easy configuration through its UI.

It's still a bit immature product, but it's getting there. It can be clunky and a bit unresponsive at times, but it gets the job done well.

Many connectors are not supported by Airbyte directly

Sometimes debugging takes time.
