It efficiently distributes requests from these devices to our backend servers and maintains stable performance even during peak traffic periods. So far we haven't had any major issues or downtime and the set up is pretty easy and intuitive and it is providing good visibility.

Alteon on-premises vs cloud
I started administering and using the product a year after implementation. The experience was quite smooth. If any issues arose, then through dedicated support portal they were replied to and/or escalated if necessary during the day. As we encountered some appliance breaking changes, the support provided a fix within a month. The offered product has quite extensive capabilities and pricing is easy to understand. Available experts (through support) have resolved any issues we had. Also the vendor has a community website available - where they publish news and useful insights. In banking, downtime is not acceptable and we cannot use cloud-based protection because of compliance and regulatory restrictions.
