The snapshot feature works perfectly. it is very useful to replicate volumes across regions. Its ability to resize volume without downtime is a major plus.
Convert to different type of EBS based on need of your IO workload, great performance matrix dashboard with resolution up to 2 minute. Easy to setup, increase on-demand and cost optimization
Data on EBS volumes is duplicated within the same AZ to provide maximum availability and durability.
The only thing i dislike is the cost associated with an EBS volume, especially with high performance volumes like io2.
Not able to see if there is demand profile in clear way, need storage expertise to understand and analyze.
Performance may suffer amid network congestion or while running on a burstable volume type (e.g., GP2).
