By virtue of this deployment we realized: 1. Complete, real-time asset visibility and protection across the full enterprise 2. Actionable, prioritized remediation task enumeration with less noise and faster risk reduction
Armis UI has been from day 1 been great and easy to navigate and work with. Graphical representations of ASQs are easy to understand. Policy creation is a breeze!
The wealth of information that it makes available not only for network security monitoring but also to help reengineer the network and security architecture where it is needed.
1. Make sure to allocate staff to the project (even before the program) or else face a long runway to full productivity 2. The tool can find and catalog everything on the network but it cannot always call it by name (makes it less effective downstream when searching for assets by vendor).
Limited integrations capabilities, VIPR and Centrix user administration and dashboard are separate, it's annoying to keep switching between dashboards. Hope to see Armis platforms are merged!
It is easy to drill down from one context to a deeper one, but when you backup from the drill down you lose the context in which you were when you drilled down further. I can easily compensate by opening the drill down item in a separate tab, but I feel this should be a given that the application tracks where you were before the drill down and puts you exactly where you were before the drill down (not only the same page, which it does, but also the exact line where you were).
