The breadth of functionality in the platform as well as the connectivity to many different data sources were the aspects that sold us.

The tool requires technical knowledge which increases the learning curve for less technical users to adopt. This increases the effort and time to federate the tools to business users. While the data quality functionality is strong, the metadata management and data lineage functionality needs improvement to be the sole data management tool for our company.

Initial setup can be lengthy and complex, reporting features could be more robust, occasional challenges with integrating data from non-standard sources

I think the hybrid DPE server installation could be easier or packaged up more succinctly, the visual presentation of the UI is nicely colored but could be slightly streamlined or simplified, and the documentation could be more complete and comprehensive.
