The Ataccama platform is unifiedits brings together all the key principles of data management, including governance, quality, lineage, glossary, etc. The power of this is when they all come together and the AI enablers they have developed are making this super easy.
Attitude to serve. The product is evolving along the communicated roadmap quite nicely.
Data quality is easy to create and apply rules. overall very aesthetically pleasing, well laid out and easy to navigate through. Usability is a top priority for us.
The main issues at the moment: - lacking the ability to easily empower data stewards to manage their dq issues - lineage in snowflake has been problematic to implement, however this is maturing quickly - lacking the ability to easily promote work in the dev environment into the production environmenti believe this is coming soon
At our business MDM cases we couldn't use still in progress capabilities of the product. We had to develop our own way to handle more complex data management workflows. Workload estimations, failures to meet the agreed work estimations and thus invoicing was quite aggressive and very disliked on our company.
not being able to export in a nice format and also having to use the desktop tool to merge and join different tables or sources.
