Competent group of people having the attitude to serve. They have challenges with internal workforce distribution, sourcing of competent subcontractors, control and focus for the assigned tasks.
The MDM One solution was not providing all the business sensitive workflow management capabilities we were after and hoping for, so we had to develop all of the workflow management and end-user UIs ourselves.
Data integration transformations were supposed to be done in the MDM, but the capabilities were lacking. We had to get those dataflows transformed into our own integration layers or specific data source exports instead of in Ataccama API solution.
Ataccama was initially a pretty basic MDM data management solution provider with some half-baked attempts to be more advanced. They've evolved a lot over the last couple of years very much. I've seen their vision and roadmap and I think they will be on the top right side of Gartner's magic quadrant if they are able to pull it off what they are planning and developing.
Are we going to use all those advanced features of Ataccama suite, we'll see. Probably not.
