Clio Likes & Dislikes
It is a simple and accessible tool for day to day tasks as one can customize as per their suitability and it has very strong client support.
I feel it is incredibly simple to create invoices for our clients. There are soo many customizable options for everything you do in Clio, so you are never stuck with a template or process. I can't say enough about the GREAT client support! Even when my issue wasn't something that could be resolved, I still had a great experience. It's also impressive how many other apps and programs can be integrated with Clio.
Links to email; great support; document storage
Migration and connectivity with other apps could be improved.
There are small things that can be annoying with how Clio talks to other programs. For instance, not all fields come through to Quickbooks when you record them in Clio (ex. payment method or reference number). It can be frustrating that Clio can send information to Quickbooks, but Quickbooks cannot send information to Clio. It would also be nice to have cheaper licensing for non-attorney users.
I think our migration could have gone a lot more smoothly.

Exceptional Client Support and Flexibility Defines Clio's Software Experience
Transitioning to Clio was surprisingly smooth. We've been using Clio's platform since January of 2020 and we're happy with it! Their client support is incredible and soo easy to access via chat or phone call. There have been times that they didn't have a solution for us, but even then, they submit the request as an idea to the developers. Billing for our law firm is much more streamlined than it ever was with other platforms. - OWNER AND FOUNDER OF LAW FIRM<50M USDServices (non-Government)Review Source
