“End-to-End Project Execution Improved, Occasional Model Limitations”

5.0
Jan 23, 2026
Cursor has significantly improved the productivity at work. We love the AI agent and their capabilities. Large projects are much better managed and cursor does a great job at code stages like testing deployment and production debugging too. We love the fact that Cursor has great understanding of our architecture once fed with the right information, it is able to manage large projects end to end with little to no guidance from senior devs.

“The next generation IDE that helps you code more productively”

It is the next-generation IDE we need in this era. It is getting smarter with more capabilities. I code less now because I just have to ask it to code for me.

Cursor boosted our development cycles and became an indispensable tool for the team

    5.0
    May 18, 2026
We implemented Cursor with our team of 5 developers to accelerate delivery cycles and reduce repetitive tasks. Adoption was rapid because the interface, inherited from VS Code, eliminated the learning curve. In the first 2-3 months, we noticed a measurable improvement in development speed, especially in refactoring and unit test generation.

Thorough Code Generation Enhances Understanding But Adds Complexity for Simple Edits

    4.0
    Jan 22, 2026
Using Cursor was generally a good experience, but it could feel tedious at times. The tool is very thorough, which is helpful for complex tasks, but can slow things down when working on small or straightforward changes. While the depth is impressive, it sometimes felt like more interaction than necessary, especially for quick edits.

    Jan 12, 2026
My overall experience with Cursor has been great. Cursor has the context of the whole codebase in the project which makes the process of developing applications a lot faster and easier. It is really very helpful in understanding and debugging complex code snippets. The UI is simple and easy to use.

    5.0
    Jan 14, 2026
Cursor is a good AI tool. I use this product daily for my work. It improved a lot in the efficiency of the work. earlier to develop any feature if it took 8 hrs now i m able to do it in the 2hrs . To debug any issues it helps a lot. For pr reviews and the other features of adding the llms and settings are good. When i need any explanation about code i asks about and it explains in a very good manner.

Reviewer Insights for: Cursor

Cursor Likes & Dislikes

Like

I like the Agentic offering from Cursor. We have tried it for Google workspace development like extensions, add-ons and web applications. Cursor excels at all of those.

Like

- It understands my codebase - It gets frequent updates - It has free model usage sometimes

Like

What we value most is the Agent mode with full repository context understanding. Unlike traditional autocomplete solutions, the cursor can receive instructions in natural language and consistently implement changes across multiple files. I also appreciate the TAB function and the ability to ask codebase queries.

Dislike

I am yet to find dislikes here but sometimes some models are much inferior resulting in too much time being spent with back and forth prompting and guiding the model to understand the full context of our project requirement.

Dislike

- Its marketplace has limited extensions - It is expensive - it hogs resources

Dislike

The agent occasionally makes more extensive changes than requested, so each diff requires review; there are noticeable latency moments when the models are in high demand; and finally, administrative control is still basic compared to other enterprise licensing tools.
