Installation on a single client is easy, really fast and can be tailored to specific needs. Mass deployment tools are provided and work really well. The agent is extremely lightweight and comes with many useful tools baked in, allowing cyber security teams to leverage a single tool for more than just basic endpoint protection. The alerts generated in the console are extremely easy to read and understand for everyone, yet there are lots of details available for advanced users that prefer detailed information.
The best thing about the product is its ability to identify malware through excellent behavioral analysis.
Cynet brings everything together in one platform, eliminating the need to manage multiple vendors or integrate separate tools. Having detection, response, and protection all in one place makes it far easier to manage and maintain our endpoint security.
The product has really few weak points, although it's being constantly improved. Sometimes when you change the hostname of an endpoint, the web console doesn't register the change, inthead it appears as a new manually installed agent, nothing deal breaking that can't be fixed. When you first install an agent on an endpoint, sometimes in the console its IP appears as 0.0.0.0 for a few minutes, then it fixes with the correct IP. Installation on Linux-based endpoints is quite easy and achieved with a few handy scripts, but reading the documentation is still highly advisable as the installation scripts can be executed without options, or with specific options that may need to be evaluated based on the specific target endpoint to avoid any issues with the agent and its dependencies.
