The speed at which the platform is adding capabilities is truly exceptional. I also like how stable the platform is, in the years that me and my team have used the platform, we have never experienced an outage
1. The company took a stab at BI/Analytic capabilities, but fell short on being really useful for enterprise use cases 2. The latest GenAI capability is a direct interface into leading providers, easily leading custoemrs to give data to AI (which is expensive and hard to govern/control) 3. I hope the company can invest some of the AI/GenAI capabilities to help customers analyze their workflow to optimize on performance and costs. Or help customer to migrate onto Databricks, which we are doing on our own
The split between a product and professional service business model. If i pay to use for the product I would appreciate that I don't also have to pay expensive fees for the consultants.
Gen AI capabilities seem like an afterthought, I would like to see true agenic capabilities like AI agents that can write basic data pipelines automatically. Unity catalog integration could be better for Gen AI workflows.
