Overall, my experience with Visual Studio IDE is quite positive. One of the tools that allows you to work very fluidly, the debugging integration is one of its killer features. The ability to insert breakpoints (even conditional ones), inspect variables and objects at runtime, and navigate within the code makes this tool very agile and important during the development and troubleshooting phase. This solution adapts to the needs of every developer, as the marketplace allows you to install add-ons and additional components. The NuGet package manager makes the solution truly complete. Obviously, it's not perfect, and in some cases, the tool's hefty size introduces general slowness. Another less positive aspect is the solution's updating requirements, which often require several GB.

Android Studio is one of the best IDEs that I have used for developing android applications, it has a simple UI and supports various types of mobile simulation with different screen resolutions and also supports all types of android OS version. It was really a great experience for me to use the Android studio. I would definitely suggest it to other application developers as well. It is the one application that you need for mobile application development covering all micro functionality for your developing application

My overall experience with IntelliJ Idea has been very positive, especially for backend development involving Java based applications and large enterprise codebases. I use it regularly for development, debugging, code reviews and maintaining Production level services. Its Intelligent code completion, deep code analysis, and advanced refactoring tools have significantly improved development speed and reduced manual errors. The debugging tools are one of its strongest points, especially when working with a multi layer backend services where tracing issues quickly is critical.

Xcode has been my primary development environment for building and maintaining iOS applications. As an iOS developer working on production-level apps, it provides all the essential tools required for UI development, debugging, testing and deployment within a single ecosystem. The tight integration with Apple's SDKs, Swift, and device simulators makes development streamlined and efficient. The SwiftUI preview feature significantly speeds up UI development by allowing real-time updates while writing code. However, Xcode sometimes struggles with indexing issues and long build times, especially in larger projects. Occasionally, after updates there are compatibility or stability issues that require cleaning derived data or reconfiguring project settings.

PyCharm is a full fledged IDE offering everything you'd expect from in a modern IDE but with a unique specialization in Python, offering useful integrations for python libraries like django and flask, and unfortunately some added bloat making it a powerful but resource intensive option.

Great for vibe coding. I went from prototype to deployed in 20 hours (+ 12 hours for a senior developer to hard code, check quality and security). The fact that it is natively connected to Firebase makes the whole process easier and more intuitive for an amateur developer like me. Having unlimited Gemini credits to make any changes is a real plus. By connecting Firebase Studio to github one can get a real coding environment: development, staging, production. What I didn't like is that sometimes when an error is detected and the agent can't solve it, it gets into a loop trying to fix it over and over again. Also, sometimes even if you tell the agent not to implement or change anything beyond the specific command given, the agent is proactively destructive, it takes the initiative to change parts that were already approved. Finally, sometimes when building the console environment it gets stuck, and doesn't load; I was about to cry thinking all the work done will be lost, but the day after it worked again (why? no clue)
