Very good customer support, quick and always have answers. However, we do have them on a 5 day/year support retainer so I am unsure how support would be without that. Good regular updates. Fairly transparent conversations.

Simplicity, the tool does one thing (measure DQ) very well. We are a company of 1000 so I like how we don't need to spend extra time mantaining functionality we don't use. I also really like the automated address cleaning, email and mobile black-box validity checks.

Easy to transfer from existing solution. Almost completely seamless.

The user friendly workflows that allow the creation of complex business rules and validations without technical/coding knowledge. The ability to track performance against these business rules over time through scheduling workflows to run automatically.

For a while they really tried to upsell us. Some UX improvements like ability to comment out parts of workflows would be handy. Hard to be pretty with the dashboard.

Customer success management

We cannot yet copy and paste steps within functions which can make it time consuming to create some functions that need to look at multiple similar columns.

Aperture Data Studio has transformed the way we can profile, cleanse and report on the quality of our data. Implementing it has been a step change in our Data Governance programme, allowing visibility of data quality and therefore ownership of this across the data domains. The Experian support team have been excellent in installing the product, resolving issues and supporting us to develop our use of the tool.

Aperture is a particularly business-user friendly Data Quality Tool, which is what I was looking for when sourcing a Data Quality Tool as part of my Data Strategy and Data Governance Framework Initiative. The tool is wide-ranging in functional coverage of data quality and data migration needs. User Dashboards are professional looking - similar to Tableau and easy to use. Speed of solution modification is very high. Experian's customer support levels have been fantastic. I can highly recommend this tool.
