“Falcon ASPM Integration Reduces Vulnerability Noise in DevSecOps Security Workflows”

4.0
Apr 16, 2026
End-to-end visibility into our cloud-native application security, something that was previously missing due to limitations. Our biggest challenge when we were migrating from monolithic to microservices architecture was understanding the complex data flow and dependencies between services. However, with Falcon ASPM, the connections between every API, microservice and database are automatically mapped in real-time, it helps our risk team identify the risks through alerts that are consumed and we are capable of acting on them rather than collecting too much and going through false positives. Evidently, ASPM has become an integral SIEM system for our daily security operations once we have integrated Falcon in our DevSecOps workflow.

As per my experience with Falcon ASPM, it has been highly positive. The platform provides strong visibility across the application security posture and helps streamline vulnerability management effectively. Major things that worked well were its centralized dashboard, real-time insights and seamless integration with all existing security tools. Initially it required some effort in fine tuning policies and workflow, Overall, it significantly improved our security operations and risk prioritization.

Performance of Falcon ASPM Across Market Features

Falcon ASPM Likes & Dislikes

Like

Automated dependency mapping and data flow monitoring are the most prominent. Falcon ASPM shows how sensitive data moves between services, API and cloud environments in a visual manner and shows the expositional risks that were previously invisible in an instant. Up to ninety-five percent of vulnerability noise is removes with risk prioritization based on exploitability, allowing our team to address only the issues that truly matter. In everyday cybersecurity activities, a clear dashboard and the relevance of the alert can indeed facilitate daily activities for both security and development teams.

Like

We like its mapping of dependencies as it can map our APIs and data flow, showing the network dependencies and how it prioritises risks.

Like

Posture Management is pretty well developed, it provides really good visibility over your physical or cloud services, giving you the chance to see at which point of security you are based on, for example knowing in what you are lacking and giving you the advice and how to solve it.

Dislike

Modular pricing quickly becomes boundless when additional features such as DSPM and CI/CD integrations are included since they might get too expensive for organizations that prioritize the application.Certain scans become slower during rush hours and new users need time to use the boundless feature comfortably.

Dislike

Falcon ASPM has a lot of capabilities that helped our organization find the vulnerabilities and their weakpoints but since we handle a lot of applications, the licenses are a bit pricey, which has become our bottleneck in the operations.

Dislike

Some of the main problems with Falcon are the sensors, sometimes the management of the sensors became tricky especially in the turned off hosts, the sensor does not recognize the state of the host which it's in, and every time we want to track all of the turned off hosts the info related isn't right.
