Falcon ASPM Likes & Dislikes
What I like most about Falcon ASPM is how clearly it highlights risks and helps us focus on the right issues first. The dashboard is clean and makes it easy to understand the overall security posture. The integration with our development process is smooth, especially during scanning and code review stages. I also appreciate the accuracy of the alertsthey are actionable and not filled with unnecessary noise. These features make the tool easy to use and very helpful in everyday security operations.
We like its mapping of dependencies as it can map our APIs and data flow, showing the network dependencies and how it prioritises risks.
One of the main features we like is its data flow monitoring, which helps us to automatically identify whether there is any sensitive data residing within our applications and how it is being moved, helping to prevent accidental exposure.
There are a few areas where Falcon ASPM can improve. At times, some scans take slightly longer than expected, especially during peak hours. The initial setup also required a bit more configuration than we anticipated, particularly when integrating with our existing tools. A few parts of the interface could be more intuitive, as new users may need some time to get fully comfortable. These are not major blockers but small areas where the overall experience can be smoother.
Falcon ASPM has a lot of capabilities that helped our organization find the vulnerabilities and their weakpoints but since we handle a lot of applications, the licenses are a bit pricey, which has become our bottleneck in the operations.
The pricing model is modular. In one way it lets you buy only what you need, but the cost can spiral quickly as you add features like DSPM or specific CI/CD integrations.

Falcon ASPM: Industry leading Visibity from Code to Cloud
Falcon ASPM provides visibility into the security posture of our modern, cloud-native applications from "code to cloud". One of the main concerns while migrating a monolithic application to microservices in the cloud was security. With Falcon ASPM we are getting deep visibility into the security posture. Its comprehensive visibility is one of its greatest features; it creates an automated, real-time map of all application dependencies. This includes seeing how data flows between services. This also helps with risk prioritization which helps to avoid thousands of unwanted emails in our mailbox. - IT SECURITY & RISK MANAGEMENT ASSOCIATE50M-1B USDBankingReview Source
CrowdStrike ASPM Review
CrowdStrike ASPM is a relatively new part of the CrowdStrike Cloud Security or CNAPP portfolio. It offers continuous visibility and risk management over the application security posture from code to runtime which includes SAST, DAST, dependencies and SBOM checks. Its capability to map out and correlate all the dependencies in a graph view is an exclusive and outstanding features which I don't see it in other competitor solution at the moment. - TECHNICAL MANAGER<50M USDIT ServicesReview Source

Integration Strengths and Basic SaaS Depth Highlighted in CrowdStrike CSPM Experience
There are a lot of players in the ASPM/CSPM market. We were looking for synergies and cost savings by streamlining vendors while expanding our capabilities at the same time. CrowdStrike CSPM and Shield offered us the opportunity to achieve both. Both have rich feature sets and obviously integrate well with the rest of their platform. Our second line risk function was thrilled with the results compared to prior vendors. Our SOC was able to onboard necessary alerts to stop critical misconfigurations before they could be exploited.
