Wi-Fi and Switch controller at no cost. FortiSwitch and FortiAP can become a kind of port extender of the firewall, all its ports can be referenced in firewall policies. When you have such management plane consolidation it gives you a simpler way to operate.

A few years ago, FortiADC has been a good ally in our infraesctructure, we have grown rapidly, and we have found ourselves in need for a bigger and more powerful balancer for our company. We made several comparisons with different vendors, but the features in FortiADC box are stand out more than any other one. We got a huge value with SSL Offloading and a lot of capacity with L4 and L7 connections, now our server farm is better and the users feel the difference with this box, the connectiones are quicker. The dashboard could be better, but it contains the basic information to see all traffic across your network.

    load/link balancer for everyone

We use the FortiADC for server load and internet link load balancing. It is easy to configure and manage. I was able to setup a solution with no experience with load balancers. all I needed was the admin guide and support from Fortinet. For now we're using FortiADC as a layer 4 devices for production, but also have test Layer 7 configurations for different web servers with PAT instead of destination NAT.
