The tight integration with the existing ecosystem makes data ingestion seamless and improves contextual threat analysis. I also value the single consolidated dashboard, which simplifies monitoring, investigation and reporting Once properly tuned, the platform is stable, scalable and supports efficient day-to-day SOC operations with meaningful insight rather than raw log data.

A Powerful, Scalable SIEM Offering Strong Analytics and Automation Across Security Ecosystems
Overall, over the past 1.5 years of using the FortiSIEM daily in our environment the overall experience has been positive, particularly in terms of visibility, correlation and threat detection across our infrastructure. FortiSIEM helped us centralize log collection and provide real-time insights into security events, which improved our monitoring and incident response processes. The correlation engine and automation feature reduced alert noise and helped prioritize actionable incidents, enabling a more efficient SOC operation. Integration with our existing Fortinet ecosystem including firewalls, endpoints, agents and network devices worked smoothly. The consolidated dashboard made it easier to track trends, investigate anomalies and manage incidents without switching between multiple tools. Scalability - has been reliable as log sources and volume have increased over time. That said, FortiSIEM is not a set-and-forget solution. Initial deployment, tuning of parsers, and alert optimization required effort and expertise. Once stabilized, however, the platform delivers consistent value and meaningful security insights.
