We leverage the protocol mediation service, which is the highlight of the product for us allowing users to stream data using HTTPs GET calls.
One of the key strengths of the solution is how easy it was to get started. The API Management console and the Developer Portal were intuitive and well-designed, enabling us to quickly establish governance whithin our organization and start exposing services to our clients and partners. This ease of use greatly accelerated our adoption and value delivery.
A feature lost between major versions of the APIs definition, which required several minor versions to recover
The use of Spring Expression Language and lack of a good testing environment for API calls leaves much to be desired when creating Policies and other granular permissioning strategies.
The only downside we experienced was the initial learning curve for understanding some advanced features, which required a bit more time and support than expected.

Gravitee Excels in Service Responsiveness and Feature Request Handling Practices
Gravitee works well as a product, but it is the service that I find to be most outstanding. When there is an outage, the Gravitee team works quickly and efficiently to resolve it, and root cause the issue afterwards to ensure it doesn't happen again. Additionally, Gravitee is good at taking feature requests and acting on them.
