IBM SPSS Statistics is very simple and user friendly. Its GUI is very similar to other tools. Developing models is easy and the learning curve for the software is also very less. We used it for the discrete choice modelling, it it did most of the work. The results generated are reliable and easy to interpret. from developing graphs (weibull plot and all) to most of the regression (binary, MNL etc. ) model, it does most of the work

The issues we faced included that for categorical variables in discrete choice modelling there are limitations on reference categories. further mixed logit model development is also not flexible. Multiple random parameters can't be selected.

License fees. Layout and design are kind of outdated compared to other statistical software. Setup takes time.
