It has a very powerful API lifecycle management. Also, security is not compromised anywhere as it has very strong security features with easy and smooth integration with enterprise systems.
Intuitive API lifecycle / workflow, built-in approvals (configurable), clean and professional looking UIs
Strong security which is backed by industry most powerful IBM Datapower gateway Very good API lifecycle management Same features in on-prem and cloud
User interface feels a little bit outdated and less intuitive. One more thing I dislike about this is that customization is a bit difficult as it requires a lot of technical knowledge. Also, the initial set up was difficult and also time consuming. Cost of the product is also comparatively on the higher end.
Not truly fit for purpose for SOAP APIs - problems stemming from handling of SOAP as ReST (wrapping SOAP specifications with an OAS / Swagger). Hit and miss OAS support - partial support at best. Really poor Validation Policy implementation. No mechanisms to enforce unique API address scheme - allows contention (multiple APIs registered to the same address), and allows this scenario to play-out in the most confusing of ways - without any warning.
Lacks monetization feature like any payment integration Not easy to troubleshoot it
