Microsoft Defender for Endpoint Likes & Dislikes
Allowed us to have a unique Unified console to manage alerts from PC and mobile phone alarms detected from MDE Robust web and network protection allowed to prevent phishing website from mobile phones Allowed us to to develop specific conditional access on mobile phones thanks to integration also with Intune
Identifies and mitigates threats using advanced analytics and machine learning, And I liked automated responses with other integrations
Zero touch activation for iOS Supervised devices.
The big disadvantage of the product is that you always have to have a VPN installed and running, which is required for the web protection. It is not always easy to perform onboarding since it has to be performed by the end user Battery performance since we noticed in multiple cases some battery drain
The reporting features that are provided are not as useful for security incidents and overall health monitoring. I would recommend having integration with external tools to develop their dashboard and reporting
Lack of Zero touch activation for Android devices and no option to turn off web filtering on BYOD devices.
