Eval and Tracing Done Well Yet Dashboard Speed Needs Improvement in Foundry

    5.0

I mainly use it to build and evaluate our LLM apps and the eval + tracing piece is what we lean on the most. What I like is that everything sits in one place, you can test prompts, look at traces and push to deployment without jumping between five tools. Improvement Pointers 1) Dashboard load times - sometimes when the traces are heavy the page takes a while to refresh, a bit of optimisation there would enrich this for the end user.

Performance of Microsoft Foundry Across Market Features

Microsoft Foundry Likes & Dislikes

Like

1) Tracing is genuinely good, I can see every step of an agent's run and figure out where things broke without adding a bunch of print statements. 2) Evaluation flows are handy, we run our prompt changes against a dataset and the side-by-side scoring saves my team a lot of manual checking. 3) It plays nice with the rest of the Azure stack we already use so onboarding the devs was not a big fight. It makes the whole eval and monitoring story a lot clearer and easier to explain to stakeholders.
