A strong ecosystem of extensions which allows me to adapt the IDE to my exact needs. Support for multiple code formats (with text color) such as JSOn, SQL, XML .. There is built in formatting, validation and syntax highlighting.

All the AI integrations tools into it, and the convenient terminal tools.

It is easy to use, and extendable to meet our ever-changing needs. GitHub integration and the extension manager streamline support for legacy code.

Maybe the start up time : a little bit slow

1. unreliable extensions 2. lack of framework support 3. the fact its basically a text editor with some additions aside, linter needs to be downloaded separately

Some issues with angular syntax checking slows the process at times.

Visual Studio is good for developing on Windows as it offers multiple compilers and helpful extensions. Debugging capabilities are also good, along with memory profiling. But the project settings are complicated with need for MFC and many windows specific tools which is a downside.
