Since day one Modo Labs has proven to be innovative, open to ideas, and at the forefront of the needs of the higher ed community. With tools to quickly integrate existing data, create a new experience through Publisher and XModule, Communicate to engage users, and Analyze to evaluate app usage, Modo Labs has made implementing an app at a large university possible while being affordable and scalable. In addition, their support team is responsive and resourceful to solve issues quickly.

Modo Labs offers one solution for the our mobile needs while development can be easily shared with campus stakeholders and requires little to no coding knowledge.

Really like how easy it is to integrate with existing data from ERP/SIS through the use of XModule. Also like the flexibility to provide other departments and even students to create and contribute content through the Modo Publisher.

The product's ability to work with different mobile OSes and tablet and desktop devices makes covering all users and their products very easy.

Even though this has not caused an issue with our app, the speed of major upgrades, which are not too common could be a little faster.

The Flexibility of the desktop UI creates some issues.

Sometimes the integration and the options are a little overwhelming. XModule (the solution for custom content) is getting better but quirks and errors are sometimes a bit quirky.

Modo has provided us with great support. The initial implementation was very smooth and it provided us with the ability to integrate existing software tools. Modo since our initial implementation has made some major improvements in the way the solution is delivered which created some issues for us through the upgrade process but they were able to provide the support and expertise to make that happen.

Modo has become significantly better to work with in the last two years. Prior to that we did not have any communication from them. The staff now are very helpful and pleasant. The product is fairly good and getting better with new releases. Their responsiveness to feedback and feature requests is also welcome. The implementation of the product requires a bit of a learning curve, and XModules (their solution for custom content) is fairly well-done but requires a moderate amount of custom coding and development for the institution.

It is a very good product. It has helped us improve communication across campus significantly. We have also had great luck with using the product to help keep people on schedule for major events like homecoming, orientation and commencement. The customer service is excellent and they are very helpful. They are one of the best vendors I have ever worked with.
