When it comes to Stellar Cyber Open XDR, there is a greater depth of attack surface visibility and efficiency in detection in response. With an almost 100 percent uptime, it has proven to be an extremely reliable tool that is not likely to break down on us.
It is vendor agnostic; which gives it the ability to integrate many security tools
It is not the easiest platform to learn for new analysts, but they have strong documentation that assists.
Sometimes, there are gaps in the technology where it cannot cover a certain service or tool right away. We need to wait for a parser to be created, but the turn around time is about a week for this to be developed. However, they are very flexible on the timeline for creating the additional integration.
In some cases compared to other SIEMs it could look challenging,which can provide a learning curve since it is very intuitive

Stellar XDR has many native alerts and has the ability to ingest the native alerts from it's many connections, allowing our team to build a single look into our customers' environments (SaaS, EDR, endpoint, etc) without needing to separately monitor all of these tools in a disparate manner. Stellar XDR also provides response actions directly from the XDR platform which has sped up the response time in several instances. There are still gaps in some external tools that we would like to see included, a simple connector request adds it to the possible roadmap for their team. While there are some rough edges to the platform, the developers regularly roll out updates that continue to improve and refine the platform. They have implemented an easy process for submitting support tickets, feature requests/improvements, and coordinating with technical SMEs when we have a difficult problem we are looking to solve.
