Oracle Database is a powerful platform and is clearly built for enterprise-scale workloads. What really stood out to me was how much automation was available in the system, with things like patching, tuning and scaling being handled with minimal manual effort. Oracle AI Database is not the easiest product to get started with. The pricing model can get confusing and there is a bit of a learning curve. Once you get past that though, it's a very reliable and capable platform, especially for analytics-heavy and AI-driven use cases. Overall, my experience with Oracle AI Database has been positive.

Performance of Oracle AI Database Across Market Features

Oracle AI Database Likes & Dislikes

Like

1) Oracle AI Database has autonomous capabilities. The self-managing nature of the database is genuinely useful. Tasks like performance tuning and backups. and updates run automatically, which saves a lot of time and reduces operational overload. 2) Oracle AI Database has built in AI/ML and vector search. Being able to run machine learning models directly inside the database is a huge advantage. The addition of vector search makes it easier to support newer AI use cases like semantic search and recommendation systems. 3) Oracle AI Database has a converged database approach, and it is convenient to work with different data types (relational, JSON, graph) in one place instead of managing multiple systems. 4) Oracle AI database has strong security features. The security feels robust, with built-in encryption and automated patching, which is reassuring for enterprise use.

Dislike

Some of the main documents that we use are hidden under multiple clicks. It would be more functional if the user could customize their screen to have which tiles they would like and also have the files not so buried under the layers of clicks.
