The best experience i had as an administrator and user was, without a doubt, the support services, which are easily among the best i have ever encountered in such a third-party tool.
The ability to bind business glossary with data catalogue is truly amazing. The AI enabled term association feature offers a great productivity boost. It consumes existing user-defined associations between business terms and data objects (table, table column, report column, etc) and recommends new associations for manual approval or rejection which further feeds the learning algorithms improving the quality of AI recommendation as you keep using it. I like this feature the most as it can significantly reduce the time and efforts required for the data classification task.
The Intuitive user interface and robust metadata management
1. It would be great if i would have the option to edit some information text pop-up boxes i that are displaying for some features like Data Classifications. 2. The manual data upload process using template excel files can be made more user-friendly (and i am referring to the blank template column header naming) 3. We would greatly benefit from the ability to use the auto-lineage feature between two different data connectors (though i understand it's a challenging request) if it were possible.
Product installation, UI / UX and release management practices have scope for further improvement.
