The software itself is a huge improvement over Chrome Enterprise. It allows for firewall type administration on end-user browsing. The Okta SSO and SCIM integrations are quick and allow for immediate provisioning and deprovisioning of users. This is essential for onboarding and offboarding workflows. The customization is granular so a company with multiple entities can have different branding withing the same PAB tenant.
Prisma Access Browser offers enhanced security without configuration complexity. The browser integrates all security features like safe surfing, secured remote access (SSH, RDP), DLP...
The PAB Chrome Extension is not nearly as effective as the actual PAB software. This makes it difficult to effectively manage Chromebooks with PAB. With Macs, blocking screenshots can prohibit other functions such as allowing the camera on a video call. Initial page loads are often slower on PAB than Chrome due to the upfront security checks.
I really don't dislike something about the product. It is not specific to PAB, but it could be great if partners could generate eval license on their own (even under Palo Alto's control) to be able to build more quickly LAB environments and so on...
