Pricing Complexity and Steep Learning Curve Detract From Otherwise Flexible Solution
It's a functional platform that gets the job done, but it definitely feels like a "jack of all trades, master of none" situation. On one hand, it's great to have everything in the cloud without managing servers, and the security features are robust enough for our compliance needs. On the other hand, the transition from legacy on-prem solutions to this cloud version hasn't been as seamless as id hoped for. We often find ourselves stuck in the middle with Talend because while, yes, it's more powerful than a basic ingestion tool, it's also more restrictive than a pure code environment. It's a solid 3-star choice for a mid to large company that wants a "safe" enterprise bet, but it lacks the "wow" factor or the agility of some newer, leaner competitors. - DevOps Engineer10B+ USDTelecommunicationReview Source
Efficient Workflow Integration Amid Occasional Performance And Debugging Difficulties
My overall experience has been positive. Qlik Talent Cloud helps streamline workflows across multiple data sources and also the cloud-native approach makes it easier to scale and manage jobs without any worry about infrastructure. However, there are occasional performance issues with large datasets, and debugging complex pipelines can be time consuming sometimes. Overall, it is a reliable and capable solution for modern data integration needs. - Vp, It10B+ USDBankingReview Source
Effective performance marred by inconsistency and limited pipeline sharing across teams
The Talend data integration platform, whilst powerful and useful for batch and bulk processing, is often difficult to use, develop, and understand. When jobs work, they work well and performance is good. When they fail, however, the causes are often random and difficult to diagnose and fix. These inconsistencies mean you may end up spending more time fixing failures than working on new features. - IT Associate1B-10B USDIT ServicesReview Source
Effective Talend Support for Complex ETL Issues, Slower Response on Minor Tickets
Talend support has been helpful with strong technical knowledge and clear troubleshooting guidance. Response time for non-technical issues could be improved but overall experience is good - Data Analyst50M-1B USDRetailReview Source
Some native connectors have reporting issues in Shopify and Freshdesk
It's good because it allows you to connect to different sources, the downside is that some native connectors don't provide the information correctly, such as those from Shopify or Freshdesk, so you have to look for other ways.
