Raiser's Edge NXT Likes & Dislikes

The NXT web view interface is especially easy to use, customizable enough for comfort but not so much that it is unusable. Custom dashboards within the platform are excellent and provide a way of using the software without resorting. New integrations with AI have been quite helpful regarding prospect research.

Very customizeable interface for power users though it takes some time to adjust to.

It allows you to track and process gifts NXT allows you to view many consecutive years of donor records and includes very detailed charts. It's a big upgrade aesthetically from the database version -- Navigating is easier.

No major weaknesses, but a few to mention: - Soft Credits should be distinguishable between 3rd party kind and spouse kind (this makes reporting more challenging). - There are occasional issues with split gifts and reporting. - Exporting specific wealth ratings is still difficult.

Some parts feel outdated, clunky, and slow. For something so expensive, I'd expect a bit more improvement.

From a price point it is pretty expensive compared to some other options. Ease of switching between different donors could be a little simpler Loading times can sometimes be longer than they should be

Raiser's edge is a great database tool that allows you to track and process gift's from donors. It is fairly easy to use in most aspects and is a very high quality product used by many large companies.
