Cons : Products lags state of art data recovery, data export/import capabilities. Offers weaker as expected HA/Performance, lagging best-in-class search capabilities.

We use vmware gemfire in memory grid. We used it for our trading system data cache and been in use for last 8 years.

In my opinion, GigaSpaces is still experiencing growing pains and unable to fully cope with demands of bringing on a new client. They're taking steps to address it but there is a lack of consistency in the services rendered, technically and otherwise. As for the product itself, some of the key features did not work as advertised. which was disappointing. As an in-memory data grid, it functions well and performs as expected.

Tool improved performance drastically and easy of use was a big advantage

Overall it's good experience to adopt JBOSS data grid.
