The simplicity for setup and ease of use is what I like the most. Also, being one of the leading names in the vulnerability scanner and management platforms ensures that we are utilizing a platform that is constantly being updated with the latest threat knowledge.
It offers extensive coverage, detection, and analysis of a broad range of vulnerabilities across different types of processes, including normal and authentication scans, and also combines local and network-based testing effectively. ,
I quite like some of the features we're currently using within the Exposure Management and Vulnerability Management blades, but mostly the remediation projects and goals, it's quite a useful feature for remediation tracking and ownership.
The support from Tenable for the service is pretty lack luster and usually requires some follow-up to get the answers I need. Luckly, the product seems to work pretty well so it's not often that I need to contact support.
In some cases, reports from Tenable Nessus can be bulky and not in the proper format, with a need for better integration of reporting between instances.
It's an excellent product, however, it takes a bit getting used to, the dashboards creation and customisation as well as the overall feel of the tool requires getting used to.
