The overall experience with Teradata CIM is ok. The Teradata CIM (Customer Interaction Manager) works ok for data-driven marketing campaign management but it does not integrate well with new big data infrastructure and it has performance concern too.

    We have adopted Teradata as our Data Warehouse for almost 10 years. Most of the time it has a good performance for big tables. But it is necessary to choose a well distributed primary index for that. We also divde and compact some huge tables and put it in cold files.

The sales team is open to discussion, not only for future projects, but to current on-going issues. Sales and support team work closely together to find solutions to comfort the client.

The SQL language being compatible with ANSI-SQL, so we are used with its syntax.

Teradata's roadmap can sometimes take some time to get updated, causing uncertainties for the client with regards to projects and upgrades.

The error message databsae is full, because most of the times there is available space in the database. In fact the primary index is not good and so data distribution is not ok and some AMP is full not the database.
