Devices are reliable and performant. Once configured they have proved to be workhorses that handle all the traffic we can throw at them. A10 offers virtual appliances running their OS that provides a path to running without requiring proprietary boxes to be racked.
A10 ADC offers high performance, superior scalability (multiple form factors are available) out of the box and security features while you can also add Fastly WAF as a subscription on top.
With the current usage, I haven't come across any issues.
The management API is comprehensive but poorly documented and contains some bugs. Client libraries are provided for only a narrow range of programming environments. Support is slow to answer questions about integrating with the API and doesn't always provide correct answers to queries about details of its operation.
The UI is less attractive compared to the competitors however management and operations are pretty straightforward.
