What I like most about the product is its single console single agent solutions on the Trend Vision One platform which covers all of the modules of Vision One. Their coverage of legacy Windows, Unix, and Linux servers is also good as they can still cover those vulnerable operating systems. From traditional Endpoint Security to NDR and XDR, Trend Vision One has it covered it all. They can also ingest data from 3rd party solutions like FW or Active Directory to have a holistic view of our customers' environment and have complete security visibility.
Trendmicro vision one website is nice and also the alerting notification is always on time
The standout features for us are the following: - Full Integration: All the modules are fully integrated and talk to each other meaning we have a single view of all the threats and can respond accordingly. - Extensive Data: The amount of data available on all aspects of our systems is outstanding, but at the same time presented in a way that does not overwhelm us. - Small footprint: The agents installed on our systems do not consume large amounts of resources.
I think what Trend Vision One can be further optimized is the size of its installer file. The file is around 600 mb in size which could be a challenge to deploy in a remote environment especially if we have limitations in the bandwidth. Also, one thing I noticed when deploying it, they usually say that we can deploy it remotely and it will remove the currently installed Endpoint Security on our customer's assets but there are times that this is not happening and sometimes it leaves remnants of a file making it harder to cleanup. They can also make it capable of coexisting with other EDR solutions so that the deployment would be much easier and there will be no gap in terms of security during the reinstallation of endpoint security.
I don't like the new portal as its difficult to navigate and usagebase model.
There are no issues as such, but these are three areas I think could be changed: - Credits: The system of having credits to use different features is often confusing and can lead to concern over using too many without realising. - Too many options: Endpoint Security has a few different options (using different credits per system) and it might be easier to simplify this to just a single option that encompasses all the features. - Knowledgebase: There appears to be a transition between knowledgebase providers and the content that is often linked from within the product configuration is outdated or returns not found errors. It can take a moment to navigate around the new content to reach where you would have gone on a single click.

However, the initial setup was a bit complex, and tuning the alerts took some efforts to avoid noise. Performance an older machines can lag a bit due to high resource usage.
