Veracode Secure Code Training

Excellent, we have used Veracode for our code scanning, and it turned out highly valuable. We were to scan almost all the code bases and find vulnerabilities based on CVE scores. Which has potentially enabled us to increase TTM significantly and we were also able to enable a security approach for the projects. Initially without the training it took us 5 weeks to deliver a code after completing the security audits, but with Secure code training we were able to reduce it initially to 4 weeks and then to 2 weeks. Now the team understands the need of secure coding Our primary deployment objective in implementing Veracode secure code training was to cultivate a robust security first culture within our development team. With aims to enhance their knowledge on secure coding practices, reduction in vulnerabilities and ultimately improve the overall security posture of the organization. After implementing Vercode Secure code training, we have noticed a significant increase in secure coding awareness among our developers and product owners. The ability to understand their knowledge gaps in secure coding and self paced learning has really helped the team in moving towards security first. Quantifying the ROI will be a challenge but we have seen a significant reduction in vulnerabilities during the application security testing phase. This directly translates to cost saving considering the efforts we may need to put towards remediation and potential security incidents.
