Overall, it’s been a decent experience. I mostly use Microsoft Whiteboard for quick brainstorming and sharing ideas during meetings, and it does the job without much setup. It’s easy to open, simple to use and works well enough when everyone is already using MS tools.

I am a big fan of collaboration tools, especially when it comes to integrations with virtual/online meetings. Whiteboard is one of those tools that has an average execution with high potential. It's definitely not the fastest collaboration tool, but it has the basic features and functionality that you look for in your average collaboration tool.

I like that it's easy to access within the Microsoft environment (e.g., Microsoft Teams) and doesn't take much to figure out. Real-time collaboration and automatic saving when discussing project workflows also makes it convenient for my team for quick brainstorming without worrying about losing any changes.

Like other Microsoft products I appreciate the integration whiteboard has with the rest of the Microsoft suite of applications. I appreciate that whiteboard is automatically added to meetings and teams, which allows seamless and instant collaboration without the need to set up additional tools. I also appreciate that it is persistent across ongoing meeting series, which supports ongoing collaboration.

Real-time syncing makes it feel like everyone is literally on the same page, even when were working remotely. Infinite canvas gives a lot of creative freedom to organize thoughts, sketches & ideas. Its also great that it integrate wellwith teams & onenote, it just fits right into the workflow.

I do think that it can feel a bit limited compared to other whiteboarding tools, especially when it comes to organizing content or doing more detailed planning. Sometimes my team experiences some lag when multiple people are using it at the same time. Regardless, the tool being embedded within MS Teams has been a win for collaboration.

As previously mentioned, there is significantly noticeable lag/latency issues which is the major drawback for this application and other collaboration tools provided by Microsoft. I would also like to note that the controls are not as intuitive as expected.

Moving multiple items smoothly can get tricky. Tool gets slow when multiple users are collaborating on a detailed board.

For collaborative sessions, I'm very positive about my overall experience, this tool is well integrated to MS 365 ecosystem and effective for brainstorming, quick sketching and remote teamwork. However, we have some limitations appear when working o large boards or with too many participants

Whiteboard directly integrates within in the Microsoft ecosystem, and particularly well with Teams that makes collaboration extremely easy during meetings. It also has their AI tool Copilot which suggests points to add, and you can make it even more engaging with the templates and hand drawn content.
