We use Workato mainly for connecting SharePoint with other SaaS tools and automating database-related tasks. Before Workato, a lot of this was done through manual scripts or one-off requests, so having a centralized platform to manage these integrations has made things noticeably smoother. It took our team a bit of time to get used to the recipe structure, but once we had a few working recipes in place, building new ones became much quicker.

High Support Quality and Robust Issue Resolution Stand Out With Workato Platform

Workato as an application is fantastically capable, but Workato when discussed as a holistic service is exceptional - the level of support and interaction with the Workato team has been consistently high-level and has allowed us to deliver on improvements that I'm confident in stating we would not have been able to achieve without their assistance.

Workato Enables Fast Automation and Reliable Integration Despite Some Workflow Limitations

    5.0
    Mar 4, 2026
The platform has proven to be very easy to use by employees with varied technical backgrounds. Engineers are able to build complex workflows while users with lower technical knowledge are able to utilise the platform to automate simpler tasks. In the years we have used Workato, we have not noticed any instability or greater issues that would hinder our operations. It's been very reliable.

Intuitive and scalable platform for enterprise data integration.

    5.0
    Mar 16, 2026
Workato has become a core part of our data integration infrastruucture. We use it to orchestrate workflows across multiple internal and external systems, and the platform has proven reliable even as our intergration volume scaled significantly. What impressed us most was how quickly our team - including members without deep intergration development backgrounds - could start building and deploying recipes. The built-in testing and monitoring capabilities gave us confidence throughout the intergration lifecycle, from initial development to production. Since adopting Workato, We've seen measurable improvements in users, which has been key to driving scalable automation across our organization.

Workato Simplifies Workflow Automation and Integration With Recipe-Based Approach

    5.0
    Mar 25, 2026
We've been using Workato to integrate systems like SAP, Kissflow, Slack etc,. With Connectors, it's pretty straightforward to set up basic data integrations. The recipe-based approach works well for building workflows, even for moderately complex logic. Event-driven flows are relatively easy to implement, and overall it doesn't take much effort to get things running. Testing, monitoring, and error handling are all in one place, which makes operations and troubleshooting easier. We've mainly used it for approval workflows, notifications, and doucument processing, and it definitely helps reduce manual work. There are some limitations when it comes to low-level customization, but for typical enterprise integration and automation use cases, it gets the job done.

Workato Data Orchestration Platform Likes & Dislikes

Like

The DB connectors and the ability to write custom SQL queries inside a recipe are what we get the most value from. We also use it heavily for SharePoint integrations pulling files, reading data from specific document libraries, and syncing that with internal systems. What I appreciate is that once a recipe is configured and tested, it just runs. We've seen a real drop in manual errors since we moved these workflows off of scripts and onto Workato.

The flow chart look helps to build the process fast and effectively

Like

Flexibility - the ability to develop custom SDK connectors for bespoke solutions allows us to meet any challenge set by our clients. Scalability - the ability to scale our processing capacity effectively infinitely with batch and concurrent processing of jobs. Observability - The platform allows us to surface any issues quickly and gives us the tools to resolve root cause issues effectively.

Dislike

Honestly, nothing major comes to mind. If I had to pick something, the initial learning curve for team members who haven't worked with integration platforms before can be a bit steep. The recipe logic isn't something you pick up in a day. But that's more of an onboarding challenge than a platform issue.

Dislike

The Price is a little bit high

Dislike

Some platform features that should be more widely available are effectively paywalled behind the tiered pricing model of Business, Enterprise and Workato ONE Plans - that make it hard to justify an initial business case. Specifically, Enterprise MCP, which would not require any additional AI compute from Workato to make public, but would massively expand our capabilities. Limitations on AI Provided / Model selection at an account level mean we are unable to choose a default set of LLM's to be used when going via AI through Workato (though this can be alleviated by using a vendor-specific connector, such as Anthropic or OpenAI.)
