We have successfully deployed the Zimperium MTD platform to all our users, mandating its use on all phones connected to our environment. The deployment was relatively straightforward - We encountered a few challenged particularly with devices running less common Android distributions. Some of our users also raised concerned about potential invasion of privacy, especially if the app is installed on personal phones via a MAM policy.

A key benefit of the product is how easy it is for end users to interact with the app. Employees do not need to alter their behavior or constantly interact with the app, yet they are always protected. The application also does not drain battery life. Further, when threats are detected, users receive actionable and clear alerts. These alerts are non-technical in nature which is perfect for our business employees. This is also great for users who are not knowledgeable about common phishing or spoofing schemes. Another key benefit of Zimperium is the fact that it offers a consistent user experience across both iOS and Android devices. This helps ensure consistent protection for all individuals across the firm. Finally, Zimperium offers centralized visibility into mobile device risk exposure via a unified dashboard. This makes monitoring more efficient for our security teams.

While our support representatives are very responsive, support tickets can take a long time to be assigned and worked on by a technician. The VPN will sometimes break or disconnect home camera/security applications.

First, while the threat alerts are simple and non-technical, some technical employees have found the lack of in-app details to be limiting at times. SOC teams value the increased visibility that they receive, but some end users have reported that they would value additional insights. Second, we have noticed instances of false positives in some regions where excessive alerts are generated for issues such as unsecured WiFi networks, unnecessarily disrupting employee workflows.
