Product(s): OutSystems
Overall Comment:"Truly an exceptional overall experience with this vendor. Its got such a simple but powerful way for newcomers to feel integrated and get quick hands-on experience with the product."
Everything and nothing, its truly a love and hate relationship. Theres times where I come across a problem with service studio, such as weird merging problems or debugger not starting on the producer model. But overall, theres no other low code framework that offers such an amount of tools, user experience and community feedback at this level. Therefore, my conclusion, is that the pros and cons balance themselves, because a good product is never a perfect one, or one thats good, but rather a product thats good at not being bad. Thats how brands thrive in this world. Outsystems is veering towards that spectrum i believe.
Like I previously explained, sometimes theres some questionable merging dependencies that popup even though the module hasn`t been touched or published in months. Then theres the fact that a producer module trying to debug a service action with a consumer module as an entry point sometimes, not triggering. This might be an intended feature of service actions, but what this forces me is to republish the same action but as a server action instead, do the testing and then, go back to service action again.
