Product(s): Looker
Overall Comment:"Based on my overall experience using Looker, I'd describe it as a powerful business intelligence platform that makes data feel a lot less intimidating. What stood out to me immediately was how customizable the dashboards are, you can build reports that make sense for your role instead of having to adapt to a rigid template. Once everything is set up, the visuals are clean, easy to digest, and incredibly helpful for spotting trends quickly."
What I like most about Looker is the accessibility. It doesn't just keep data locked in the hands of analysts, team members who aren't super technical can still navigate dashboards, run filters, and pull insights without constantly waiting on someone else, which in-turn makes collaboration smooth across all departments.
While Looker is undeniably powerful, there are a few things that frustrate me as a user. The first is the learning curve. LookML, their modeling language, isn't exactly beginner friendly. Unless you already have a background in SQL or data modeling, it can feel overwhelming. Lastly, pricing isn't very transparent. For smaller teams, Looker can feel expensive compared to other BI tools.
